My First Test

I took my first test for seminary last night. Fittingly enough it was a test regarding Genesis for my Pentateuch class. Though half of the test was open Bible, I was surprised (impressed with myself is probably more accurate, but I want to come off as humble) on how little I needed to refer to it. I’d done a lot of studying/memorization, apparently more than I needed. Of course, the wisdom of my decision will become clearer once I get my grade back.

Anyhow, I’ve got another test coming (on Exodus) this Thursday, so if you don’t mind, pray for me!

The Seminary Help Page!

As promised, I created a page about my entry into seminary that details how you can help (if you so desire). There’s a link at the top of the page, or you can visit it by clicking here.

The ball is rolling…

I’m setting up to start my first semester at seminary. My classes…

  • Christ in the Gospels
  • Public Speaking in the Church 1
  • Biblical Introduction
  • Biblical Interpretation

Needless to say, I’m excited to get started. On a related note, a number of you have asked if there is any way you might be able to help Jenn & I through my time in seminary. The answer is yes! First and foremost we covet your prayers. Both for my studies and for our house – a lot of extra work is coming mine and Jenn’s way. As for financial help, etc. – I’ll post a page later this week detailing how you can help if the Lord so moves you.

Thanks & God Bless!
